Natural Stone Onyx

Onyx is a semi-precious stone, a cryptocrystalline quartz. The Assyrian word ‘onyx’ means ‘ring’. In ancient times it was particularly coveted as jewellery and credited with healing and magical effects. It was said to be a stone that ensures harmony between the body and the mind.

There are many types and colours of onyx, however, we choose only the best of green (multigreen and light green), red (multired and onyx red), and brown (multibrown)onyx. They are also the rarest ones available on our planet. It is highly decorative thanks to the so-called banding in various colours and shades that permeate and intertwine with one another like on a canvas painted by the biggest of all artists — nature. Multigreen and light green are semi-transparent, so illuminating them from behind results in a very unique effect that stuns almost anyone. This stone’s beauty is simply captivating, and its presence in the interior provides an exquisite feel.
